I wanted a mod which removes the Speed Limit as it comes off as annoying and it's definetely not realistic, while keeping the other traffic offenses active. The in game setting of "hiding" and "Show car Limit" are not helpful as well, is there a mod available I should know? pls halp
I started with 1.5.2 (what came on the CR-Rom), then after installing it on New Years (got it as a Christmas gift) I updated to 1.8.2.5. I know I can turn off the speed limiter and without a trailer, I can safely do 83MPH/133KMH (see ets2_00534.jpg ets2_00327.jpg) but with a trailer, over 64ish/102KMHish i tend to lose control on curves.
Hello @PapaJoint. The Simulation 2 Server is supposed to be limited to 110 kph, just like the Simulation 1 Server. If you want to drive faster though, you need to join the Arcade Servers, those are not limited. Kind regards. Linciano. TruckersMP Trial Support. Ye can't disable the limiter if you're on those sort of jobs, you can only disable the limiter in the settings if you take a job from the freight market and also possibly the quick jobs as well? Not too sure on the quick jobs though.
Make sure that you have enabled it in your profile - it should have a message about unsupported mods at the bottom of the screen when you load your profile :) See if it works.
In real trucks you have speed limiter that is always on. Of course, someone can argue that you can turn it off, so turning it off in game isn't that bad. Well - it is. Great majority (i would say all, but there is always some small % of people who try to cheat) of drivers don't try to mess with this.
