If you're referring to Medieval original, then unfortunately you cannot get Steam to recognize it. You have to get a Steam code for Medieval by purchasing it either here on Steam or someplace elese that sells digital copies. If you're referring to Med 2 Gold, then you should have a serial code that comes with it. Units will get tired inside a battle, but they'll be rested for the next one even if you fight in the same turn. To avoid needlessly tiring unitd inside battle, you walk instead of running, avoid slopes, etc. They can also just sit in the battlefield, and if memory serves, they recover a bit. #6.
Next, manually copy the DLV-ext folder into your mods folder in your medieval 2 folder. lastly, right click Medieval 2 in your Steam Games list, select properties, click set launch options, add "--features.mod=mods/DLV_ext" without the quotation marks, click ok and launch from Steam Games list or click play on the game page. DO NOT USE A SHORTCUT!
Total War: MEDIEVAL II - Definitive Edition. Stainless Steel Crashes on launch. Ive managed to install the mod, however when i try to launch the mod it comes up with a loading screen then crashes to desktop. Ive tried using a LAA (dunno if i used it correctly) and looked twcentre forum posts and steam discussions. None have worked. These days CA are less and less ambitious and let's not even talk about accessibility, diversity, monetization, etc. Rome 2 was a disgrace for Rome 1. While Medieval 2 and Shogun 2 were significantly better than their predecessors, Medieval 2 was still the gold old CA and Shogun was the very first Total War game so it wasn't that hard to PXUc5Ni.
